Collesi returns to star in the GIN day event, scheduled Sunday 9 and Monday 10 September in Milan.
In this international scenario (now in its sixth year) the company will present, together with the distributor D&C (Eurofood Group), its full range of gin: the “Classic” Gin Collesi - launched in 2016 - and three important innovations this year: Amarillo, Saaz and Barrel Reserve (the first two featuring fine hop varieties, the third aged one year in barriques).
Gin Collesi classic - Winner of the World Gin Awards 2018 as best Italian gin in the category Contemporary Style and a bronze at the’International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2018, is now an icon for its combination with sour cherries (precious, sweet cherries). This small fruit makes its aroma unique, along with other precious botanicals: hops, wild rose, walnut shell, and Italian orange and lemon peel.
Gin Collesi Amarillo - Awarded a silver with special mention also at the’International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018, Amarillo is a gin that combines juniper berries with amarillo hops - with their characteristic intense, citrusy and floral aroma - and complements it with orange and grapefruit peel.
Gin Collesi Saaz - Awarded a few weeks ago with a gold medal Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2018, and already a silver medal winner at the’IWSC 2018, Saaz gin combines Apennine juniper with the characteristic Saaz hops - with their delicate yet slightly spicy aroma - with rosemary and mint.
Gin Collesi Barrel Reserve - Made with juniper, sour cherries, walnut husk, hops, wild rose, orange peel and lemon peel, Barrel Reserve unlike the others is a barrel-aged gin, where it rests for a year, taking on a golden colour and characteristic notes of vanilla, woods and caramel.
