The secret of Collesi Gin lies in the excellence and variety of the ingredients. The purest water from Monte Nerone, no less than seven different botanicals: first and foremost the berries of a prized juniper typical of the Apennines, cultivated on the Collesi Estates and then sour cherries (sweet cherries from the Marche region of Italy) hops, wild rose, walnut shell and orange peel and Italian lemons.
The botanicals, skilfully dosed, are left to infuse in a full-grain alcohol base. The infusion is then diluted with water from Monte Nerone and then refrigerated at -15° for at least 30 hours, filtered, bottled and left to mature in the dark for 4 long months.
